An Open Letter to You, our Dear Readers

Dear Readers,
Wow, it’s been a long time since we’ve been here. We both miss you, and posting here, terribly. Jane and I talk over the phone fairly frequently, and in amidst our respective trials and tribulations, we’ve often mentioned our desire to post here. We have been feeling remiss. Although we both have been quite busy in our lives, and have had lots of big life issues to deal with – rest assured we are both unscathed and ready to write again.
Hopefully you have missed us as well. We are happy to be back, and hope you’ll find posts over the next few weeks entertaining.

I had to reread the text message several times before I realized that the 10K request from my college daughter was NOT a plea for lavish senior-year funding.
OMG, she wants me to RUN a 10K. She actually thinks I’ve got 10 kilometers of “just do it” in me. Which soon gave way to… Awwwwwww. What a nice compliment from my super-fit 21-year-old daughter.
